Step 1
Buy several pairs of high quality tweezers. You can find them at your local beauty store, pharmacy, or even online at places like www.folica.com. You'll find that tweezing is an affordable way to trim eyebrows or remove stubborn facial hairs. You may want to consider purchasing nose hair trimming scissors as well. These tools can be used over and over and can be conveniently taken just about anywhere.
-
Step 2
Consider low cost electrolysis rather than expensive laser hair removal. Electrolysis from a registered/licensed professional can help tremendously and cost much less than a salon trying to pay for their laser hair removal machines. Some people find using a home electrolysis kit to be helpful.
-
Step 3
Facial waxing, either with an at-home kit or through a local salon can be affordable and cost effective. Some consumers buy bleaching kits to lighten facial hair. Research your local telephone book under "hair removal" to find many of these services near you.
-
Step 4
One popular product to remove facial hair is a pen-shaped electronic hair removal tool (shaver), powered by batteries, and usually available at most retailers for under $15. Razors are always an option. If you would like to invest more, consider laser hair removal or an or purchasing an epilator that is designed for removing facial hair.
