Large pores can dull a person's natural complexion. For a person with oily skin, the pores can easily become clogged with dirt, oil and bacteria. Once the pores are clogged, they slowly stretch out to two or three times their normal size. Thus, they become visible to the naked eye. One of the best ways to tighten and cleanse pores is by using a honey and egg treatment. Honey is a great antioxidant skin cleanser while eggs hydrate and tighten skin at the same time. Easy to make and use, this treatment will transform your skin.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Squeeze some fresh lemon juice (about half a cup) and set aside. Fresh lemon juice helps to control oil production in the skin. Oily skin often leads to clogged pores.

  2. Step 2

Beat the egg in a small bowl. Add 2 teaspoons of honey and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Blend ingredients with a whisk. The honey and egg together cause tightening of the skin. They've been used for centuries as a pore tightening mask to improve a less than perfect complexion.

  3. Step 3

Add a teaspoon of the lemon juice into the bowl with the other ingredients. Stir for about a minute to blend well.

  4. Step 4

Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat dry. Apply a generous amount of the honey egg treatment all over your face, concentrating on areas with large pores. Massage the treatment gently onto your skin.

  5. Step 5

Leave the honey egg treatment on your skin for about 15 minutes. During this time, the active ingredients in the honey and egg will absorb deep into your pores, clearing them of dirt and oil. After the alloted time has passed, rinse off the treatment with lukewarm water.

Tips & Warnings
  • Refrigerate this treatment as the natural products give it a short shelf life.
  • Use this treatment about twice a week for tighter pores.
  • Don't use this treatment if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
