Be careful not to over do it. Moving earlier and not just staying in bed during your hospital stay will help you get your strength back more quickly and will help you to begin losing weight.

Breast feed. Breast feeding is a great natural way to lose the weight after baby is born. It has been known to speed up the process of getting rid of the weight that was gained from pregnancy.

Drink plenty of water. Water is another great natural way to lose weight. Water also has other benefits that is great for your body and will help you as you recover.

Eat healthy. Be sure to eat optimal nutritional foods. Eat the necessary servings from the five food groups. Stay away from high calorie foods and foods high in fat. If you are breast feeding you will need to eat healthy for baby.

Start exercising. As soon as your doctor says it is safe you will want to begin exercising. The sooner you exercise the faster you will begin to lose the weight from pregnancy. Walking is a great low pack exercise that is safest after giving birth.
