Wear gloves to protect your hands from this potent, fast-acting material. If you want to protect your clothing, you might consider wearing an apron when using the bleach.

Read the information on the clothing labels. Some materials tell you to avoid using bleach. Do what it says and only use bleach on white or color-fast material. .
Read the labels on the bleach. Follow the directions for the safety of both your clothing and yourself. -
Step 3
Test an area with the bleach before you use it. Mix one tablespoon of bleach with one cup of hot water. Place a drop of the mixture on a hard to see spot and leave it for ten minutes. Blot it to see if there is any color change.

Dilute the bleach before you use it. Never apply undiluted bleach directly to the fabric.

Rinse the clothing thoroughly. Remove every trace of the bleach from the material.

Use diluted bleach when you are sanitizing and cleaning your home. It is excellent to use on bathroom and kitchen floors, counter tops and toilet bowls. It is wonderful to disinfect cutting boards, eliminate mildew, and can be used to remove stains on hard surfaces.
Mix one gallon of water to three-fourths cup of bleach. Carefully add more bleach if you need a stronger formula.
