Things You'll Need:
- old towels

Step 1
The first and easiest option, is of course, to rip or cut the towel into pieces for rags. These can be reused as dish rags, polishing rags, car washing rags, or anything else rags are needed for.
-
Step 2
Another great use for old towels is craft projects. They can ripped to thin strips for any weaving project such as rag rugs or hot pads. They can be used as stuffing for pillows, teddy bears, door holders, or anything else a person could think of. We have used re-sewn towels for dust covers for objects. An interesting project for old towels is to cut the towels into pieces and make a patchwork dust cover for larger objects.

Step 3
Old towels can be used for times when a person doesn't want a regular towel for hair. Times such as the occasional home permanent or hair dye might be good opportunity to use these old towels for. Why get chemicals or hair coloring on good towels anyway?
-
Step 4
Old towels can be used in the car too. If a person does not want to buy seat covers, these may be used on the seats to keep them clean. A person could also make kids who spill a lot put them on their laps or use them as bibs for travel. With some creativity, they might be used as floor mats or emergency blankets or perhaps even for first aid purposes.

Step 5
There are likely many more uses for old towels that are not mentioned here. Whatever they can be used for, reuse them and save money plus help the environment--its worth it!
