Pickleball is a cross between tennis and badminton with a lower net with a wiffle type ball and paddles. The game is gaining in popularity because you don't have to move around as much as you do with tennis or badminton as the court is much smaller. Sound like fun? It's is. Here's how you play it.
The court needs to be 20 feet by 44 feet with a 34" tall net in the middle. The ball is made of durable plastic material and is 2 7/8 inches to 3 inches in diameter and has holes all the way around. The paddles are about 8 inches wide by 15¾ inches.

There are two players on either side of the net. The paddle is served underhanded from the right side of the court to the left side of the court on the other side. The opponent returns the ball to the other side, once it bounces one time.

If the server wins, then he switches to the sides with his partner and serves from the other side. If the server loses the rally, he stays where he is and the serve passes to his partner.

Scoring is announced by the order of server's score, receiver's score, then the server number, i.e., serving team score is 2, receiving team score is 2, and the second server on the side is serving, the score would be announced as 2-3-2. Game is won by the first 11 points.
