You've just opened the mailbox to find that little box. You know instantly you forgot to mail the postcard stating you didn't want to purchase this month's Columbia House DVD. The movie is definitely not something you'll want to add to your collection. What do you do now? Relax, a couple of simple steps and the matter will be resolved.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Permanent marker
  1. Step 1

Write "Refused, Return to Sender" on the package with permanent marker within 10 days of receiving the unordered DVD. Do not block the return address with your writing.

  2. Step 2

Deposit the package in the mail.

  3. Step 3

Reseal the box with packing tape without covering the return address if you have opened the package containing the sealed DVD. Mark the package with the words "Refused, Return to Sender" and deposit in the mail.

  4. Step 4

Write to Columbia House if the box can not be resealed:
    Customer Service Department
    Columbia House DVD Club
    PO Box 91602
    Indianapolis, IN 46291-0602
or online at Columbiahouse.com to receive a return mailing label.

Tips & Warnings
  • Columbia House will not accept returns of DVDs that have the cellophane seal opened or removed unless the product is damaged in shipping.
