If you have some DVD ISO files on your computer or on a DVD that you want to put on a CD, you must convert the DVD ISO files to CD files. In order to convert the DVD ISO to CD, it's essential to have a converter that supports those file types. The Mini DVD Soft Free DVD ISO Maker is a DVD ripper program that supports DVD ISO to CD, and is easy to use.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Free DVD ISO Maker
  1. Step 1

Download and install Free DVD ISO Maker, at the Mini DVD Soft website (see Resources). You will not have to pay to use or keep the software.

  2. Step 2

Select the DVD ISO files. Typically, DVD ISO files are on a DVD. Insert the DVD with the ISO files you want to convert into the DVD disc drive on your computer and select the drive that reads "Select CD/DVD Device." If you have the DVD ISO files somewhere else on your computer, select that location instead.

  3. Step 3

Tweak the file settings. Double-click on the file under "Output File" to change the quality settings for the file. The default setting is standard, which is good quality. Adjustments can be made to "best" or "low" quality as you see fit.

  4. Step 4

Select the output location. Click on the "..." button by "Select Output Directory" to select the location that you want the new files saved to. If you have a separate CD-writable drive, select it and insert a blank writable CD; if not, select another location, as you can put it on a CD later.

  5. Step 5

Convert the files. Click on the "Convert" button to rip the DVD ISO files to CD. Click "OK" when you get the pop-up noting that the conversion is complete. If you were able to make the output location a CD, then you have completed the DVD ISO to CD process; if not, eject the DVD and insert a writable CD and save the files to CD to complete the DVD ISO to CD process.
