Things You'll Need:

Step 1
Step 1: Avoid selling your college textbook at your school' s bookstore.
Your school will only give you a fraction of what you paid for that $60-$80 book. Guess what? They are going to resell your book at a higher price. -
Step 2
Step 2: List your college textbooks online yourself.
Simply become a member of half.com or ebay.com. List your books using the ISBN numbers found on the back of your textbook.
Research what the going rate is on the sites and select the rate that meets your desire. For example, half.com may have other sellers selling the same textbook for $95.00. The best move for you to make is to sell your textbook for $90.00 so that your book will be highlighted as the cheapest price for the textbook and your book has the potential to be purchased before all of the other sellers. -
Step 3
Step 3: Your profit will either be sent to your checking account or your paypal account. Paypal is a free service widely used by eBay customers and half.com customers. Take a look at its website, www.paypal.com. You will not regret selling your own college textbooks rather than being ripped off by your local university bookstore.
