Step 1

Google groups are still a reliable advertising avenue to take. Most would think this method is dead to internet marketing, but it is still very much alive. It is sort of like a cross between message boards and news groups.
Step 2

Go to Google's home page and click on Google groups and then go to 'Browse all groups' and you will be brought to the main page. This is located at the bottom of the web page.

Find some groups that interest you and bookmark these groups to come back to later. Find some that you have some knowledge about,they do not have to be business related in any way.
Step 4

Go back to these that you have bookmarked and search for an article to comment on. You will have to sign-in and create a nickname for your post. You will need to sign in with your Gmail account.

Now that you have found an article and read the post, you can post your comment and leave a 'signature file' with your link. Do not be nervous about what you post, just state your opinion about the topic. Try to find topics that is related to your link that you are posting. If not get as close as possible.

Now at the end of the post put your sig-file as you would in an email or forum post. This does not have to be flashy or anything, just a few lines is fine.

In some cases your sig-file will work better at the top of the post rather than on bottom. I suggest you test this method in different post to find what works best for you. This will bring targeted website traffic in various ways.
