This quick and easy vanilla almond protein shake takes just minutes to make and is healthy and delicious. I use vanilla whey protein mix that is sugar-free or sweetened with a natural sweetener like stevia.Regularly eating a healthy breakfast has been linked to a healthy weight. Don't skip breakfast, keep a can of vanilla whey protein mix in the pantry and there's no excuse not to make a quick, healthy nutritious breakfast. Using almond butter means you're getting all of the heart healthy benefits of almonds magnesium, potassium, vitamin C, and antioxidants.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Vanilla whey protein mix
  • Almond butter
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla extract
  • hand held mixer
  • milk
  • berries or banana (optional)
  1. Step 1

    For each shake you will need 1 cup of milk, 1 scoop of sugar-free vanilla whey protein powder, 1 heaping tablespoon of almond butter, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1/4 tsp cinnamon.

  2. Step 2

    Using a hand held mixer or a blender mix all ingredients until protein powder and almond butter are fully incorporated.

  3. Step 3
    Raspberries can add extra sweetness

    For more protein add an additional scoop of protein powder. Berries or 1/2 fresh ripe banana can be added for sweetness.
