Things You'll Need:
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
-
Step 1
Head and BodyDraw a circle near the top of your page. At the bottom of that circle, draw an egg shape.
-
Step 2
Wings And FeetNow we add the wings. Draw a curved line and a two hump line under it to shape the closer wing. On the far side of the penguin, draw a V-like shape for the other wing. At the bottom of your egg shape, put two small squares. Divide each square into three parts. This makes the basic outline of the feet.
-
Step 3
Penguin Takes ShapeAdd a knot at the bottom of the egg shape for the tail. Draw a beak from a V turned sideways. Put an oval for the eye. Put a little crease all the way around the beak. Shape the feet with some curves. Darken the outline of the penguin. * Only darken the parts of the penguin that stays. Lines that will be hidden or that shouldn't be there should not get darkened.
-
Step 4
You're Done!Add shading and finishing touches. To make the ice-burg, draw a wiggly circle around the penguin. Make it bigger than the seal. Draw lines down from the circle in random places. The lines should be random in size as well. This will give the ice-burg the appearance of thickness and the desired shape.

on 7/26/2009 I used to draw penguins all the time when I was younger, but they never looked that good! I may have to give this a shot just for some nostalgia, 5*
