Love your cat? Want to show it how much they mean to you? Well May 30 is national hug your cat day! Celebrate the day with these steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • cat
  • toys
  • food
  • card
  • a calender since the day varies between May 15 and June 4
  1. Step 1

The main thing to do on national hug your cat day is to hug your cat! The cat may not like to do it for too long but they love to nap so lay beside your cat and give them a light squeeze once in a while. Don't hug too hard though since you can hurt your hat.

  2. Step 2

Since its it their day, show your cat your love by giving them a special treat. A new cat toy would make the cat happy. There is also nothing better than some good cat food treat. The cat will also have fun with a new scratching post. Also there are some website that offer hug a card. The card is different, however it does show how much you love your cat.

  3. Step 3

Include your children in the celebration. They can help by making the cat cards or treats. They can also help by grooming the cat. Of course the best thing for your child to do is to hug your cat since it is the day. Teach them to love the cat and not hurt it if they are younger children. The main thing to do is to love your cat since it is their day!

Tips & Warnings
  • This day can be extended 365 days a year. Show your cat you love them every day!
  • If your cat is not in the mood for a hug, please do not attempt it since they may scratch you.
