Who doesn't love going to concerts? Who doesn't love paying to go to concerts? I'm sure no one really WANTS to pay for them. But there are ways to find free concerts with big named artists- you just have to know where to look!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check your local newspapers daily! Look in the entertainment and local sections. Look at the lists of concerts. There should always be a price next to the concert. Scan for ones that are free!

  2. Step 2

Look on local radio station websites. If you like country music, then look on the country station's website. If you like rock, then look on the rock station's website. There should be a link somewhere on the page to upcoming concerts. Again, they should tell you the price of the concert, but usually you will find a few that are free. Also, if you don't see any listed on the website, call or email the station and they will be able to tell you about any free concerts that are coming up!

  3. Step 3

Look on Craigslist.com and Freecycle.org under the concerts/tickets section. Every once in a while you will find someone offering free tickets to a concert. It's worth looking into.

  4. Step 4

Research nearby fairs and festivals. These almost always have big name bands come to play free concerts that are open to the public. Look online for upcoming events and the performers that will be coming.

  5. Step 5

Play all of those radio contests where the prize is a free concert ticket! They really aren't that hard and chances are you will win at least once!

Tips & Warnings
  • Look everywhere, and look often!
  • When you hear about a free concert, spread the good news to your friends!
