  • Deli meat
  • Mayonnaise
  • Provolone cheese
  • Lettuce
  • 2 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp. dill
  • Cucumbers
  • Red peppers
  • Red onions
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Paprika
  • Plastic wrap
  • Knife

Instructions

  1. Meat and Cheese Pinwheels

    • 1

      Gather tortillas, meat, cheese, mayonnaise and lettuce on a clean counter.

      Spread mayonnaise on the surface of one large flour tortilla.

      Cover the surface of your tortilla with a thin layer of cheese.

      Top the cheese layer with a single layer of thin slices of deli meat.

      Top the meat layer with thin slices of lettuce.

      Roll your tortilla up starting at one corner. Keep the roll tight while pushing the ingredients in the sandwich pinwheel.

      Wrap your sandwich roll tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate the sandwich for 2 to 4 hours.

      Cut your sandwich into thin one-inch slices. Arrange the sandwich slices on a plate and serve.

    Vegetable Pinwheel Sandwiches

      Place cream cheese in a bowl and let it sit at room temperature until it becomes softened.

      Add 2 tbsp. of dill, 1/2 tsp. salt and a pinch of paprika to the softened cream cheese and stir until everything is mixed.

      Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture onto a large flour tortilla.

      Add a layer of thinly sliced red peppers on top of the layer of cucumber and then finish by adding a layer of red onions. Roll the sandwich tightly, seal it in a plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 2 to 4 hours. Cut sandwich into thin one-inch slices for serving.
