They waste too much time doing "busy" work (which includes checking or sending email, listening to voicemail, etc). The rule is, spend 80% of your time prospecting for your business (whether it be by prospecting by phone or returning calls, writing articles, posting to blogs and forums, basically marketing) and spend 20 % doing the busy work (check email, fix errors, listen to voicemail, etc).

Do what works to make money onlineStick with what works - If you are sending out 1000's of emails on a daily basis to a list of prospects and you are getting no results, then continuing to send out 1000's of emails to a list of prospects with the hope of different results is just plain...well you know. The key to success when making money off internet is trial and error. you try many different approaches to building your business and when you find what works, you stick with that. Do not do what doesn't work just because it makes you uncomfortable to do what does work. This is not going to build your business.
