1. There are several ways to enforce a child support order.

   The first thing you need to do is locate your local Child Support enforcement Division in your area and see what services they provide. You may be able to get this information online or at the local Probate and Family Court in your area. If they offers collection services complete and application with them and sign up for the services. You need to have a Court for Child Support before any agency in any state will attempt to help collect on your order.

2. If you don't have a Court order for Child support contact your local Probate and Family Court and learn how you go about getting one. Once you get one make sure you attach it to any application for state services you apply for and seek.

3. If is also in your best interest if you know the payer's social security number and employer. People can be tracked by their social security number may it be some type of bank account, unemployment or other state aid. Having the social security number may allow enforcement agencies to seize bank accounts, winnings, tax returns, awards in lawsuit and taking away someones driving or professional licenses.

   You also need to file a Complaint for Contempt if the payor is not paying, don't wait until the situation gets out of hand and the payor is out of the radar, Be active take court action and show up at the Court hearings. Ask for the Courts assistance in enforcing a support order and if needed ask for jail if the payor is not paying.
