With stricter airline restrictions on luggage, it pays to know how to correctly fold clothing so you can get everything into one suitcase. Overstuffed, improperly packed suitcases result in wrinkled clothes. Learn to properly pack a versatile blazer so it will arrive at your destination wrinkle-free.

From Quick Guide: Travel Suitcase Primer
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Lay the blazer out on a flat surface, such as a bed or the floor. Smooth out any wrinkles in the body and arms. Line up the buttons with the buttonholes, but don't button them.

  2. Step 2

Fold the sleeves into the body, as shown, smoothing out any wrinkles.

  3. Step 3

Roll the blazer up from the bottom. Don't force it into a small roll; it should be loose enough to avoid wrinkles.

  4. Step 4

Roll the blazer all the way to the collar. Place the jacket in your suitcase. When you arrive at your destination, hang up your wrinkle-free blazer.

Tips & Warnings
  • To keep clothes smelling fresh in a stale suitcase, place a dryer sheet in the pocket of your jacket.
