How to Find the Ink Level on an HP 5610

The HP Officejet 5610 is an all-in-one printer that allows you to scan, fax and print documents. This inexpensive and small computer is perfect for any home office setting. If your prints have been streaky, blurry and unclear, chances are your printer ink level is running low and needs to be checked. Checking your printer ink level is a simple process you can perform, to make sure that you replace the ink in time to keep printing high-quality documents and images.

Instructions

1. Click "Start" on your computer screen, then click on the "HP Solution Center."

2. Select the "Settings" menu. Click the "Print Settings" sub-menu, then click the "Printer Toolbox."

3. Click the "Estimated Ink Level" tab on the printer toolbox window. You will see two diagrams for both the colored ink cartridge and the black cartridge. The diagram highlights the levels of ink. If the ink level is below the halfway line, you likely will need to replace it soon.
