How to Get the Toolbar Back on Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is the most used Web browser on the planet, but that doesn't mean it isn't frustrating at times. It can be maddening when toolbars suddenly disappear, or you've done something to make them go away and don't know how to get them back. Many Web users rely heavily on their toolbars for daily browsing, and many of them would be lost if they lost without them.

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch Internet Explorer.

    • 2

Right-click on a blank area at the top of the browser.

    • 3

All toolbars should be listed in the context menu. Select the toolbar you would like to enable.

Tips & Warnings

  • Press "F11" to take Internet Explorer to full-screen mode, which removes all toolbars. If you have done this by mistake, press "F11" again to return to normal.

  • Don't adjust browser settings on a computer that is not yours.
