Things You'll Need:
- Fabric
- Thread
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Iron
- Needle
- Pins
-
Step 1
Place two 9-by-6-1/2-inch pieces of fabric together, right sides facing each other. Machine sew 1/4 inch in from the edges of the fabric. Leave a 3-inch opening, so you can turn the fabric right-side out.
-
Step 2
Gently push the right side of the fabric through the 3-inch opening. Turn the project completely out to the right side of the fabric and lay flat. Smooth the edges of the fabric. Tuck in the 3-inch opening. Iron the fabric flat.
-
Step 3
Thread the needle and sew the 3-inch opening closed. Lay the fabric flat. Bring each short edge to the center of the fabric and pin. Machine sew along both long edges of the fabric. This will stitch the short ends of the fabric to the center of the purse pack cover. Notice that there is an opening in the center of the fabric, where the two short ends meet.
-
Step 4
Turn the fabric inside out, with the seams on the inside. Slip a Kleenex travel purse pack inside your new travel purse pack cover.
