Things You'll Need:
- Binder
- page protectors
- printed notebooking pages
- pencil
- coloring materials
- drawing materials
-
Step 1
Choose a book for your studies. Notebooking can be done with history, geography, science, art, music, Bible, literature and even math. Just choose a good book to start with that covers what you want your child to learn.
-
Step 2
Print out a notebooking page that goes with the pages that your covered. If you are unable to find a notebooking page that matches your study, then print out a generic page.
-
Step 3
Have your child write in their own words what they read about on the lines provided. Ask them to use their best handwriting while doing their notebooks.
-
Step 4
Have them draw a picture of what they learned if there is a blank provided for drawing.
-
Step 5
Have your child color any pictures that may be on the page. They may even want to add extra decorations to the page to make it prettier or more interesting.
-
Step 6
After the page is done, slide it into a page protector and put it in a 3- ring binder. Keep doing this for the entire study.
-
Step 7
Decorate the front of the binder and make sure the subject or study is titled on the front.
