How to Make Your Own Playdough
Playdough can provide kids with hours of fun and entertainment. Instead of purchasing the colorful clay at the store, add to the fun by making it a home. Your kids will love helping mix up their own playdough and picking their own colors.
Things You'll Need
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cups of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Food coloring
- Wax paper
- Saucepan

Mix together all the ingredients except the food coloring into a pan. Cook the mixture on the stove over medium heat.

Cook the playdough until the dough starts to come away from the sides. Remove the pan from heat and allow the playdough to cool. Lay out a piece of wax paper.

Remove the cooled playdough from the pan and put it on the wax paper. Mix in the food coloring with your hands.
