How to Apply Mascara Correctly

Mascara, whether worn alone or with other cosmetics always enhances beauty and draws attention to the eyes.

• Mascara
• Mirror

1. Load applicator wand by swirling the wand in the mascara tube. Never pump wand in and out of the mascara tube because it forces air into the tube, causing the mascara to dry out.

2. Start with the eye on your weak side (i.e. your left eye if you are right-handed). Starting on your weak side ensures that your eyelashes will match when you are finished. You have more control on your strong side, so you can manipulate that side to look the same as your weak side.

3. Apply mascara to top lashes first by using a sweeping, wiggling motion. Start from the roots and gently wiggle from side to side as you move towards the tips.

4. Apply remaining mascara on the mascara to your lower eyelashes. Load mascara again and add a second coat of mascara to your top eyelashes if a dramatic look is desired.

Tips & Warnings

• Mascara should be replaced every 3-4 months.
• If your mascara becomes crumbly or changes in smell, discard immediately.
• Do not share any eye cosmetics with others. It is very easy to spread disease that way.
