It's time to break those nasty habits that are leading to larger grocery bills. Follow the step by step directions below to save money and time at the grocery store.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • paper/pen
  1. Step 1

Never go to the grocery store hungry. Everything will look good, and you will pick up items you otherwise wouldn't. This step is not going good for your wallet, but also your waistline.

  2. Step 2

Make a list, and stick to it. Forgetting items can lead to several trips to the store, which often leads to unnecessary purchases each time. Racking up not only one, but several costly grocery store bills. Having a list will also save your time because you won't be running between isles to find the items that slipped your mind.

  3. Step 3

Use coupons. Use a paperclip to attach the ones you need to your finished list, this will help you not waste time sorting through them at the check out.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some stores offer online list makers, they even sort the list out in order of the isles- awesome!
  • Check online for coupons, they're often free!
