Things You'll Need:
- Black eyeliner pencil
- Lighter
- Qtips
- Perfume free cream
-
Step 1
When you go to put black eyeliner on, the first thing you need to do is make sure there is nothing else on your eyes. No mascara, no eye shadow, nothing. Just a nice, clean slate to start working with.
-
Step 2
Take a few drops of the perfume free cream and apply it around your eyes. Be careful not to get it in your eyes, or you will begin to tear. Tears are the one thing you do not want going on when you are putting your eyeliner on.
-
Step 3
Buy a cheap, black pencil eyeliner. Do not go out and spend $10.00 on a name brand one. They all work exactly the same. I have tried 90% of what is out there on the market, and again they are all the same.
-
Step 4
Begin by making sure that the black eyeliner is sharpened. Take your finger and gently tap the top of the eyeliner so it is not to sharp. This give you a better look once you begin applying the eyeliner.
-
Step 5
Test the eyeliners darkness by drawing on the tip of your finger. If it is light in color and you want it darker, just take a lighter and light the top of the eyeliner. Just for a few seconds to soften it, more then a few seconds you will melt it completely.
-
Step 6
Now start from the outside of your eye and follow the eye line on the bottom. Do both of the bottom of your eyes first. Take a look, see if the thickness is what you want. If it is too thick, grab a Qtip and remove excess eyeliner.
-
Step 7
All you have left is the top to do now. With your index finger, gently pull your eye so it is stretched just a little. Now start from the inside of the eyelid and move out. Try and not pick the eyeliner up when you are doing this. If you have to, make sure you start right where you left off. Again, check yourself out and remove any excess eyeliner with a Qtip !
