If your bedroom is full of laundry and toys, it may be hard to view it as a romantic getaway. There are a few simple steps you can take to give your room the right kind of "flow."

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paint
  • Natural Fabrics
  • accessories
  1. Step 1

Remove clutter. Love energy cannot flow through a room with junk all over the place. Hide hampers, books, magazines, and other items in drawers, closets, or pretty storage.

  2. Step 2

Only allow adult items in your room. You need to keep your children's items out of your bedroom. This promotes an atmosphere for intimacy.

  3. Step 3

Go for the number two. To photos of the two of you, two vases of flowers, and other pairs represent unity in a subconscious way. Reinforcing couples all over the room will strengthen the feeling of your relationship in the room.

  4. Step 4

Move your bed. Place your bed on one side of the doorway. You do not want to be opposite the doorway. The goal is to not be on display when the door is open. This gives you more freedom and seclusion to let go emotionally during lovemaking.

  5. Step 5

Paint your walls in deep, warm colors. Flat, white walls are uninviting. Feng Shui says that you should have walls that create a sensual atmosphere. Red, yellow, and orange, are among them.

  6. Step 6

Use natural fibers such as cotton. You want to bring a little bit of earth into your bedroom. Lush plants and pictures of lush landscaping are key.

Tips & Warnings
  • Get rid of any item that does not speak to you anymore. This is your most private of areas. If you have any negative memories attached to the items in your room, they will live there with you.
