Want to throw your daughter a Hannah Montana party but don't have the money? Here are a few tips on how to celebrate for less.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • posters, dolls or other toys that child may have.
  • to be creative
  • paper and pens
  • drawing paper
  • money for decorations
  • a cake or cupcakes
  1. Step 1

To decorate the party use dolls, posters and other items you have of the character to celebrate the theme. Another idea is to buy a cheap coloring book and colored paper and color the pages and attach to the colored paper and hang from the ceiling or place the pictures on the wall. Also the pictures can be used as place mats to decorate the table

  2. Step 2

To decorate the table, buy cheap colored table covers that are the same color theme as the character. Can't afford that? Use a clean bed sheet to decorate the table. For cups and plates the dollar store normally has several different colors for cheap. To make it seem more like the character party, buy one pack of the character cups and plates and mix the colored cups with the themed cups and plates. Discount stores normally have a 8 pack of character themed plates and cups for 75 cents to under 2 dollars.

  3. Step 3

Next be creative with the food. For example with a Dora party, tie a ribbon around the carrots to represent a 'Map'. Also for the Hannah party take a grape and celery and attach it together with a toothpick to represent a microphone. When it comes to a cake, baking it and attempting to draw the character would be the cheapest option. However if you are not that creative, use stickers or toys to decorate the cake. If you are not a baker, buying cupcakes(since normally they have the characters on them) from the store store would be cheaper option since cakes can be anywhere from 15 dollars or more and cupcakes are normally only 5 dollars.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use the pen and papers for games related to the character of your themed party
  • Another option to top the cake is to print a picture off the computer, cut it out and place it over a piece of plastic wrap.
  • You can also cut the smaller soft tortilla shells in half and tie a ribbon around it to represent 'map' from Dora
  • Use new or clean toys to put on the cake and put plastic wrap or foil under the toys.
