Avoid too much caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant, but when you consume too much each day or too late in the afternoon, it can cause you to feel tired after the initial energy boost wanes. For a quick pick-me-up that gives you energy without the caffeine, incorporate more protein snacks into your diet throughout the day.

Keep your sleep patterns consistent. Lack of sleep or disrupted sleep can cause tiredness. Try to go to bed at the same time every night to get your body into a natural sleep/wake cycle.
