Things You'll Need:
- white vinegar
- bowl
- cotton rag
- water
-
Step 1
It is important to start cleaning the car as soon as you discover the egg! The longer you let it set, the better the chance of damage. Before you start scrubbing your car, you need to remove all of the egg shell. Cleaning the car paint while the eggshell is still there can cause scratches and additional damage to your car.
-
Step 2
Using a larger bowl, mix one half white distilled vinegar with one half warm water. Soak the cotton rag in the mixture.
-
Step 3
Pour some of the mixture onto the egg to help loosen it if it has dried on. Then use the cotton cloth in small circles to start removing the egg.
-
Step 4
If you find a spot where the egg refuses to be removed, use your fingernail through the cotton cloth to help scrape it off. Do not use a razor!
-
Step 5
Once all the egg has been removed from the car, spray the car with a hose to remove the vinegar mixture.
