Here you will find some helpful tips on writing good articles as a way of promoting your business. Articles are a fantastic form of advertising, and I believe that anyone who owns a business could benefit greatly from writing articles.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Choose your keywords.
  • Choose a title.
  • A short "About the Author" Summary.
  1. Step 1

Choose the type of article you wish to write to promote your business. It can be a "how-to", tips list, etc... Tips lists are probably the most popular to do. For example: "10 ways to promote your business onthe internet".

  2. Step 2

Choose keywords related to your topic and be sure to include them throughout your article for SEO. When choosing keywords, think about what your potential readers are searching for. There are free tools on the internet to help you find the right keywords so it ranks well in search engines. Try google's keyword suggestion tool.

  3. Step 3

Start writing your article in several different paragraphs. The first paragraph will be your Summary (400 words or less), then your article content will follow. Be sure to keep your paragraphs short. Not only does it look nicer, but it makes for easier reading. Try to keep your article content between 500 and 800 words.

  4. Step 4

Write your conclusion. Your conclusion will pretty much in short conclude what you just talked about in your article. You can explain why the information is important, how it can help you, etc...

  5. Step 5

Finish with your "About the Author". Who you are and what you specialize in. Why should they trust your opinion. Remember... You want to brand yourself as an expert in your niche. Keep it short and professional. I hope this article has been helpful, and good luck with much success.

Tips & Warnings
  • Check spelling and punctuation.
  • Include same keywords in your content that you have in your title for SEO.
  • View other articles to get a better idea of how they're written. You can also take an article writing training course, which can be very beneficial and help perfect your skills faster.
  • Always use your own content. Never steal from others.
