Things You'll Need

  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Aluminum foil
  • Bowl or plate

Instructions

      Cover a bowl or plate with aluminum foil, silver side up.

      Add hot water, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of salt to the bowl and mix it until the powder dissolves.

      Place the tarnished silver ring in liquid for at least 10 minutes.

      Rinse the ring and dry it to reveal the shine.
