Going organic is not just for the older set--now even babies can get in the action. Among the many organic options for infants include organic baby food, organic bedding, organic towels and organic clothing. Finding baby clothes made from organic materials is no longer as hard as it used to be. Organic baby clothing can be found at many large-scale stores, at baby boutiques and from online retailers.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access
  1. Step 1

Check out the choices of organic baby clothes at big-box retail stores. Many large retailers (such as Target, Walmart and Babies "R" Us) sell baby clothing made from organic materials. When shopping at these stores, check the material used to make the garment. Organic baby clothes are typically made with organic cotton materials.

  2. Step 2

Find out if there are any baby boutiques in your area. If the store has a website, check out what types of clothing they have for sale and whether they sell baby clothing made from organic materials. If the store does not have a website, give the shop owner a call and ask if they sell organic baby clothing.

  3. Step 3

Do a Google search of "organic baby clothing stores." This search will provide a list of online retailers that sell clothing made from organic materials. (See "References" for a few online organic baby clothing retailers.)

  4. Step 4

Comparison shop. Before opting which retailer to purchase from, check out the prices and shipping costs that each retailer charges. Determine what the return policy of each store is as well.

  5. Step 5

Check out the baby clothing offered by crafters on Etsy. Purchasing one of these unique handmade items helps to support an independent artisan.
