Instructions

This is what your flat roll will look like

First, lay your washcloth, print side down, on a flat surface. Fold the washcloth in half, and then, starting away from the folded end, fold it three times, you will have a small flat roll. Starting from one end, take the folded washcloth and roll it up. Pick it up and hold it tightly for the next step.

The rolled washcloth in a lollipop bag

Take your rolled washcloth and insert it into your lollipop bag, be careful not to let it come undone. Many people like to use tape or pins to hold it in place, but I do not, as it may mess up the washcloth and the idea is to give a gift the Mom can use. Secure the bottom of your lollipop bag with a small rubber band.

Now, take your lollipop stick and insert it into the treat bag through the rubber band. The rubber band should be tight enough to hold the stick in place but not so tight you cannot insert the stick. Now take a small length of curling ribbon, tie it around the stick to cover the rubber band, curl the ribbon and you are good to go!

Tips & Warnings

  • Your first few lollipops may not come out right, but don't give up!

  • There are many, many sellers, myself included, who are more than happy to do these for you, and they are surprisingly inexpensive, just check out eBay if you want some but do not want to make them

  • Use them in place of bows on baby shower gifts!

  • Handle them carefully to prevent the sticks from shifting out of place
