Follow these steps to lose seven pounds in seven days.
- MORNING TIME -
You should make it a habit to wake up and eat within an hour of doing so. While you sleep your body is in a fasting state which slows your metabolism, and so to rev up your metabolism again it is essential to eat within an hour of waking up. Choose something practical that you are likely to prepare and eat like one of the following.
2 egg whites (or whole) and a slice of whole wheat toast
Oatmeal
Granola
Whole wheat toast (no butter)Just choose proteins or carbs that are filling. You should also skip your morning grapefruit this week since it packed with natural sugar, but sugar none the less.

-AFTERNOON TIME -
Sip tea - The benefits of tea are many. Whither you choose green tea, black tea or even white tea blends they can all help you loss weight. New research has been proven that herbal teas containing hibiscus also help benefit our hearts. When you sip tea during the day it helps to speed up your metabolism. Just be careful not to add to much sweeteners in to it! You can have them old or hot.
You should also snack wisely. If you work then pack some snacks so you are prepared for snacking during the day. Consider some of these items to snack on.
Apple (with or without peanut butter)
Banana (with or without peanut butter)
Celery sticks
Carrots
Raisins
Rice cakes
NutsDo not fall for the foods out there promising to control your appetite. Stick to natural foods and fresh foods. Besides that make sure you drink plenty of water! Aim for at least 8 eight ounce glasses of water a day. Drinking lots of water helps to rid your body of fat and toxins. So this is vital for any diet and anyone alive!

when it is lunch time stick to healthy foods. When you go out with friends for lunch, think green. Order salad an have the dressing put on the side. Then as you eat your salad dip your fork into the dressing first and then take a bit of salad. This technique saves a lot of calories.
You can also have a grilled chicken breast, beans or other protein rich foods.

You should try eating dinner at an early time and remember portion size! If you have a food scale you should use it to make sure you do not serve yourself to much. These days portions are out of control! Also make sure you do not add salt to your foods. Try sodium free seasoning and read all your ingredients. There is so much sodium in processed foods of ALL sorts! Eating to much sodium will not help you loss any weight. Also watch the calories. They count when you are trying to lose weight. Stick to a diet within a certain range of calories consumption ideal for you. Need less to say stay away from anything fried!

Use lemon - When you must have those carbs, like potatoes, pasta, or rice then try this simple trick to help you eat less of them. Squeeze lemon on them. The acid actually works to help you eat less of them since it slows down your body' s digestion of the carbs. It also works to help you feel full longer! If you do not have lemon then vinegar works just as well.

For an added bonus and even more weight loss, add exercise to the mix. You can diet and diet, but without adding exercise into your routine it will hard to keep the weight off. You have to change your habits to help keep the weight off for good!
Many of us may feel that we simply do not have the time to incorporate exercise int your busy lifestyle. That is just an excuse! There are many ways to get the exercise that you need. When you are at work take the stairs instead of the elevator, or park a little farther then normal so you walk farther. Instead of going out to the movies where you just sit, do something physical like bowling, golfing, dancing, etc. Every extra bit of exercise helps!
Remember that any diet that promises you a fast and easy way to lose weight without even trying, is a fake! They are relying on the hopeful ones that want to believe there is a miracle cure to lose weight out there to get themselves rich. They are selling you a fantasy and that s the bottom line.

Use resistance bands - A great at home exercise to help tone your body and lose weight. There are different ways you can use the bands to exercise. It has been shown these resistance bands can be just as effective as weight machines at a gym, but in the comfort of your own home. Aim for at least 45 minutes twice a week with the bands. You can buy these bands at any sporting goods store, Target, or online.

One thing to remember is that the thirty seconds it takes you to eat that unhealthy food, is not worth the it! Once you make yourself realize and start doing the work to get rid on excess weight, you will really change the way you view food. Your relationship with food will improve for the better. The beginning is that hard time, but once it becomes away of life you will feel and look much better about yourself inside and outside!

Keep a food journal and write don everything that you eat all day every day. Mark the times and the item you eat. Looking at it will help you to realize what you are eating that is unhealthy. Seeing the time will show you if there is a pattern about the time you choose bad foods and you can better prepare yourself.
Have confidence in yourself because if you don't it will be harder to lose the weight!
