Step 1

First, you will need something to write on. This should be hand written and not typed. It is much more heartfelt this way. Maybe even a napkin or coaster from a date you both want to remember. Or a piece of Birch bark from a tree. This is romantic. A piece of stationary you designed. Get spontanious and fun. Pressed flowers are romantic if glued onto the paper.

Next, you should find the proper thing to write it with. Depending on what you write it on, this should fit. Think of colors. Red is romantic. Gold ink on white is pretty. Gell pens can be fun. Think about expression. Keep in mind calligraphy is a beautiful way to write.

Now it's time to write. You should think about the qualities you really enjoy about him or her. What makes them extra special and sets them apart from the rest of the world. Writing about these things makes it not just a "monkey line". You want to tell them why they inspire you. When writing about that, be sure to use words that are very descriptive.
