How to Get Rid of Mosquitoes Naturally

There are lots of old wives' tales about getting rid of mosquitoes. Things like taking garlic, or rubbing garlic on your skin (that would likely keep people away too!), and keeping a fabric softener sheet in your pocket. I know for me, the fabric softener sheet did not work and the garlic, well I will let you decide on that one. ..I do have a very simple, cheap, and safe solution to keeping those pesky mosquito at bay and it really works- I have personally tried it.

Get a spray bottle. You can find twelve oz. spray bottles at the dollar store or any retail store for $1-2.00. Wash your spray bottle with soap and water before filling it.

Fill your spray bottle half full with water (use cold water).

Next, fill your spray bottle the rest of the way with Listerine mouth wash. I know this may sound absurd but it really does work.

Finally, put the sprayer (top of the spray bottle) on and secure tightly. Make sure to shake the bottle to mix the water and Listerine. The best part about this is it is non toxic to animals or children.
