Things You'll Need:
- 2 cans of chicken broth
- Shredded or diced chicken
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- Veggies as desired
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
-
Step 1
Open the cans of chicken broth and pour into a large pot , bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
-
Step 2
Add precooked diced chicken and your choice of vegetables. Leftover vegetables work very nicely in this dish. Have a spoonful of corn left? Simply freeze it in a small bowl. Add a spoon of green beans here and a cup of potatoes there until you have enough veggies to add to a meal.
-
Step 3
Add salt and pepper to suit your personal palate.
-
Step 4
Open canned biscuits and rip each biscuit into four pieces. Drop the pieces into the simmering mixture one by one.
-
Step 5
Slowly add flour, whisking until it dissolves smoothly into the simmering mixture.
-
Step 6
Finally, slowly add the corn starch, whisking until it dissolves as well. Cook until liquid begins to thicken into a runny gravy consistency.

on 6/1/2009 My husband would love this chicken and dumplins. I'll have to give him this recipe. It would be an easy meal for him to make when I'm not here.
