How to Make Greek Iced Coffee Frappé

Greek Coffee served hot or cold is delicious. However, the Greeks have a come up with a very simple way to make Iced Coffee frappé with out the use of a steamer to get the foam. If you are a lover of iced coffee, imagine the conversations at this summers pool party with a few of your closest friends when you serve them this quick and easy glass of Greek iced coffee frappé.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Nescafe classic instant coffee (decaf or regular)
  • Milk or vanilla ice cream
  • Ice water
  • Ice
  • Sugar
  • Shaker with airtight lid or tall jar will do.
  1. Step 1

    This version is for one serving, for two servings double up on coffee and other ingredient.

  2. Step 2

    Place one well-rounded tablespoon of Nescafe classic instant coffee into the shaker or jar.

  3. Step 3

    Add in about 1 cup of water, with a shot of milk or one scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional).

  4. Step 4

    Add in ice cubes and sugar to taste.

  5. Step 5

    Shake vigorously until the mixture is well blended. Add more ice if necessary as the shaking will cause the ice to evaporate quickly. Ice is what helps to create the nice frothy top.

Tips & Warnings
  • Vanilla ice cream is optional for added flavor.
  • Make sure the jar or container is airtight.

on 11/15/2009 great recipe for greek iced coffee frappe :) I like to use the leftover coffee and add a bit of hazelnut cappuccino mix to this...mmmm thanks!
