We all know that fad diets and "quick fixes" don't really work. So what do we do to help us in our never ending quest to lose weight? This website may assist you in doing just that. It offers an amazing amount of great information and is easy to use. Best of all .... It's FREE!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log onto www.livestrong.com. (Easy first step, huh?) Begin to familiarize yourself with all of the terrific information provided on this website.

  2. Step 2

    Look in the top, right-hand corner to find the "register" button. Begin by registering your information. Be prepared for not only the usual questions, but also to fill in your weight, how much you are wanting to lose, your goals etc.

  3. Step 3

    The website offers several invaluable tools including: the "Daily Plate", body mass index calculator and on the go calorie trackers, as well as an opportunity to join a community that offers support all for free! Not to mention an amazing compilation of activities and foods complete with calories expended/earned.

  4. Step 4

    As you learn the website, you will begin to discover which tools will uniquely help you in your weight loss goal. Remember not to get overwhelmed. Take plenty of time learning about the website. Begin to utilize one tool at a time until you feel comfortable with it and then move on to the next.

Tips & Warnings
  • Really take the time to look through the website. I would highly recommend you checking out the "Daily Plate" and the "My Food Diary" Both (if used diligently) will prove very effective in your weight loss goals.
