How to Remove BitDefender

BitDefender is an Anitvirus software solution that protects computers from viruses, worms, Trojans and spyware. This easy to use program scans files, root systems and hard drives to locate and delete malicious problems that deter your computers functions.
If you have tried to install another antivirus protection software but couldn't or your virus program is corrupted and crashing, then you need to uninstall it. This simple procedure removes it from your computer.

Instructions

Uninstalling BitDefender

1. Click 'Start," and then "Control Panel."

2. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" on the "Control Panel" window.

3. Scroll down the uninstall window and highlight "BitDefender," then click "Remove." Wait for the program to automatically uninstall, then restart your computer when prompted.

Uninstalling BitDefender Using the Uninstall Tool

1. Download BitDefender uninstall tool (see Resources below). Follow the installation instructions to install it to your computer.

2. Double-click your "Uninstall" tool from the location you saved it, then click "Uninstall" on the interface.

3. Restart your computer when the uninstallation is complete.
