How to Clean Jacuzzi Bath Tubs

Lying in a jacuzzi tub with the jets on full blast can make a great day even better and can help to release stress. But Jacuzzi bathtubs, just like a traditional bathtub, need to be cleaned on a regular basis. While the process of cleaning a jacuzzi tub may take more time to complete than a regular tub, it is very easy to do.

Things You'll Need

• Rubber gloves
• Wash rag
• 1 cup bleach
• Dish detergent
• Q-Tips

Instructions

1. Put on your gloves and fill your jacuzzi bathtub with water so the water level is above the jets.

2. Pour one cup of bleach directly into the water and add a few squirts of dish detergent after the bleach.

3. Turn your jacuzzi bath tub jets on and allow to run for 15 to 20 minutes. Drain tub when done.

4. Using a Q-tip, clean any remaining dirt or debris from your tub jets.

5. Rinse the entire jacuzzi tub with water to make sure that all of the bleach and soap have been removed, and wipe down with a damp rag. Your jacuzzi tub will now be clean.

Tips & Warnings

• Wearing a face mask while working with bleach will help cut down on the amount of fumes you inhale.

• Never mix bleach and ammonia. The fumes could be fatal. Open your bathroom windows before clean your bathtub.
