How to Create a Flickr Banner
Flickr provides its online users with a free way to display personal or professional photographs online. Though Flickr itself does not support photo banners, Big Huge Labs provides a third-party profile widget to generate Flickr banners. With a few easy steps, users can generate a Flickr banner and add it to a Flickr profile or personal website.

Visit the Big Huge Labs Profile Widget website. (See References.)

Click the radio button to indicate whether you would like your Flickr banner to apply to only your photos ("Member widget") or photos for your group ("Group widget").

Type your Flickr username into the text box labeled "Flickr Screen Name or Email or User ID."

Select which category of photos you would like to display on your banner, choosing "Most recent," "Most interesting," "Random recent," or "Random interesting."

Decide whether or not to display a statistical count of photos you may have uploaded to Flickr's Explore service. Check the box labeled "Exclude count of photos in Explore" if you wish to opt out.

Select the colors for your banner. Click the white square next to the "Background color" text box and click on the main color for your banner from the ensuing color wheel pop-up. Click the small black square labeled "Text color" to select a color for words on your banner using the pop-up color wheel.

Choose a Flickr banner style. Click the radio button for the style you prefer, choosing from "Horizontal banner," "vertical banner" or "Compact" styles.

Preview your banner and copy your code. Click the "Preview" button to view your design. Highlight the code in the text field, right-click and select "Copy" from the ensuing menu.

Display your Flickr banner. Paste the code into your HTML page to display the banner on your website. Paste the code into the "Describe Yourself" section of your Flickr profile to display your banner to profile viewers.

Tips & Warnings
Private Flickr accounts without publicly viewable photos will not display Flickr banners correctly.
