Review your membership agreement. The offer that you accepted when first signing up for the Disney Movie Club will indicate the number of movies that you must purchase at the regular Club price in order to fulfill your agreement. Most membership agreements require the purchase of five movies at the Club price.

Purchase the number of titles required by your membership agreement. These titles must be purchased at the regular Club price, which starts at $19.95 per DVD.

Call a Disney Movie Club Cast member at 1-800-362-4587. Inform him that you would like to cancel your membership. A cast member will be available to assist you Monday through Friday between 9 am and 9 pm, Eastern time. It's best to be clear, concise and to the point. Be clear that cancellation is your final decision.

Save your confirmation indicating that your membership has been canceled. After canceling your Disney Movie Club membership you will receive a letter in the mail confirming that your membership is no longer active.

I will never sign up for membership again. Canceling was difficult, thanks for this article eHow. The number they give you on their website is annoying and didn't help me in any way. But one person posted (920-521-4015) number and in less than 2 mins my account was canceled. So yeah, thanks for posting that number Jenn Back!

They don't even have a toll-free number for Canadians. Horrible service, you would think that after I've sent back 6 months worth of movies someone would contact me.

Disney Movie Club is a VERY inconvenient club to belong to. They send you an e-mail, but it comes with all the gobbledy gook that should be a clickable but you can't click on any of it to cancel the monthly selections and you have to pay for a stamp to mail in the cancel selection card, so it is nothing but a huge hassle to deal with. The DMC could make cancellation very easy by allowing it online, but alas, once they get you sucked in, it is exceedingly difficult to get out as you can see the comments below. No online cancellation, and not even a mention of it in their FAQ section. Someone hijacked my credit card a couple of years ago and figured DMC would not send me anymore selections if I didn't have a credit card on file...NOPE! They started billing me for them! They tell you you will get VIP status, reduced DVD rates, and super duper specials, but you wind up paying three prices for everything that you could have gotten at a reasonable price anywhere else. What is ironic is that they have in their Cancelling Membership policy is that it tells you nothing about how a member can terminate membership, but under their terms of cancelling membership, excessive returns and account inactivity are circumstances where they may cancel membership. I wish they would follow their own cancellation policies because I have returned every single thing they've sent me for the last year and a half and possibly two years. My advice, stay as far away from the Disney Movie Club as possible.
