Instructions

    • 1

Wear sunscreen. If you are not wearing sunscreen daily on your face, even in the winter, your crow's feet are going to become more severe over time. Purchase an oil-free sunscreen formulated for sensitive skin for use around the eye area.

    • 2

Purchase a cream with glycolic acid. Glycolic acid is not in many over-the-counter eye creams, but you can purchase Murad's Murasome Eye Complex 10 at most department stores or specialty makeup stores.

    • 3

Apply the glycolic acid cream with your ring fingers very gently around the eye area in the morning and at night. Do not use a higher strength than glycolic acid 10 around your eyes unless you have a dermatologist's permission.

    • 4

See a dermatologist if your crow's feet are severe. She may prescribe an eye gel like Restylane, a filler which is injected around the eye area. Introduced in 1996, Restylane is only available through a doctor's prescription and should not be used without the permission of a doctor.

    • 5

If you would like maximum strength crow's feet removal, ask your dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon to consider Botox for your crow's feet. Botox is an injected form of Botulinum Toxin Type A that partially paralyzes the area where it is injected to relax the wrinkles.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use cucumber slices or teabags to temporarily reduce swelling around the eye area.

  • If you experience a rash or swelling after taking a regimen for crow's feet, contact your doctor as you may be allergic to the medication.
