Things You'll Need:
- Peroxide
- Baking soda
- Cola (Coca-Cola is nice)
- Tomatoe Juice
- Bleach
- Commercial cleaner
- Soap and water

Step 1
First step, everything the skunk smell has touched or even come close too must be watched. Use lots of soap and water for the moment, this will cut down on the initial oils the skunk has sprayed upon you, your items or home. This won't get rid of the smell, but its a start.
-
Step 2
So you have initially cleaned everything. Now if your clothes have been sprayed by the oils of the skunk then you must wash them with something stronger than regular detergent. If your pet has been sprayed follow the same mantra. You will need the following for bathes: 1 quart white vinegar (or 3% hydrogen peroxide), 1/4 cup of baking soda, 1 tsp. dish detergent. Now be careful with clothes, you are dealing with stuff that can and will bleach them to death. Special warning for pets, keep it away from sensitive areas such as eyes and mouth.

Step 3
Now you have gotten the second clean done. This will have already have hopefully gotten most of the stink. Still not working? Well you may have to try commercial cleaners such as Febreeze or a product called Natures Miracle that is found in most pet stores (or easier still the Internet).

Step 4
Next you may want to try a soda bath (this is where you Coca-cola comes in). Just work it into clothes or fur wash, rinse repeat as needed. Also you may want to add tomato juice to your pets bath as well. Another home remedy is to use oranges, just blend them nicely add a little soap and wash away.

Step 5
To get the oils off of your house use a solution of 10% bleach. Just add this to some water and spray down any and all areas you think the skunk has skunked. The oils should come right off.
