You can boost your metabolism by using some simple techniques. Eat the right foods at the right times to help your body burn fat.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    DRINK COFFEE OR GREEN TEA - Drink coffee or green tea every day. Coffee increases your metabolism and helps you burn more fat. Green tea has been shown to help your body burn fat in recent studies.

  2. Step 2

    EAT A LARGE AND HEALTHY BREAKFAST - Pack your morning breakfast with plenty of protein and calories. Try to eat at least one third of your daily calories for breakfast. Eggs are an excellent source of protein and a great breakfast item. Foods such as steel cut oats help you to feel full longer. Prepare your oats in a large portion at the beginning of the week so that you can heat some up every day for breakfast.

  3. Step 3

    DRINK COLD WATER - After your morning breakfast drink a glass of ice cold water. Not only is water necessary for your body but it also helps you burn more calories as your body works to lower the temperature of the water and it helps you to feel full.

  4. Step 4

    AGE - Work to increase your metabolism as you age. Your metabolism naturally decreases as you age, so you need to continually work to increase your metabolism.

on 5/28/2009 Great tips! Drinking ice water is suppose to burn off 70 calories, because it takes the stomach energy to warm the ice. That is a pretty neat-o thing!
