Paintball Hit

Being able to hit your target is a must in a paintball game. No one likes shooting 100 paintballs at a target in the open and miss them every time. If you suffer from horrible paintball accuracy and find that no matter what, you can't hit a single thing, there are several things you can do that will help you hit your target. Here you will learn how to improve paintball accuracy and shoot straighter.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use paintballs that aren't greasy, have a small seam, aren't dimpled, and have a good round shape. Greasy paint slides around in your barrel causing accuracy to suffer.

  2. Step 2

Use HPA (nitrogen or compressed air) or make your gun more effective with CO2. If you use CO2, invest in an anti-siphon kit, an expansion chamber, or a regulator to keep liquid CO2 out of your paintball gun. When liquid CO2 enters a paintball gun constancy and accuracy will suffer. A better alternative to CO2 is HPA, which will help improve paintball accuracy from shot to shot because it is more consistent.

  3. Step 3

Have a barrel with at least 8 inches of no porting. To help produce a more stable flight, a barrel needs to have at least 8 inches of no porting.

  4. Step 4

Practice shooting. You can't expect to hit everything if you have limited experience shooting a paintball gun. It takes practice and experience to be good at shooting targets.

  5. Step 5

Use paint that fits your barrel. If the paintballs are too big or too small for your barrel, your consistency and accuracy will suffer. Using ones that fit your barrel will really improve paintball accuracy.
