Does your child look like this when you put vegetables in front of them??
Does your child look like this when you put vegetables in front of them??

Children are introduced to vegetables from as young as four months old, but just about every child at some point will refuse to eat their veggie's.
Here are some tips on how to encourage your child to eat their vegetables and maybe even like them!!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Child
  • vegetables
  1. Step 1

Grow a small and easy vegetable garden nothing to hard so your child wont get bored or find it too hard. Start with just one or two vegetables, carrots and brocoli are a good start.

  2. Step 2

Get your child to help prepare the dinner with you and talk them through what your doing. The more they get involved the more they enjoy it, get them to help by counting the vegetable's as they put them into pot before cooking them.

  3. Step 3

When dishing up dinner make it fun and get your child to help make funny faces on the plate with their vegetable's. Get the whole family involved, maybe each member of the family can have a different face.

  4. Step 4

Let your child choose what they will eat first, once they start they will enjoy watching the face disappear and not even worry that they are eating vegetable's. You never know they may even finish before you!

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember: Only give your child small amounts of food to start (you can always give them more if they ask) they will be proud of themselves to see they have finished all their dinner.
