Things You'll Need:
- Ethernet-enabled device to connect to the Internet
- 4-Port Powerline Ethernet Switch
- Single port Powerline Ethernet Adapter
- Up to 5 Ethernet Cables

Step 1
Get a 200 Mbps Powerline Ethernet Kit that includes one 4-Port Powerline Ethernet Switch and one Powerline Ethernet Adapter. You can purchase a 200 Mbps Powerline Ethernet Kit from a variety of in-store and online retailers including Amazon.com

Step 2
Find your Broadband Modem/Router. You will need to connect the Ethernet adapter to this Router. Plug one end of the 1st Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet Port on the bottom of the Powerline Ethernet Adapter.

Step 3
Plug the Powerline Ethernet Adapter into a Power Outlet. Do NOT plug the Adapter into a power strip or wall outlet that uses surge protection as the Adapter may not work.

Step 4
Plug the other end of the Ethernet Cable into an OPEN Ethernet Port on your Modem/Router.
An Ethernet Port looks similar to a phone port but is slightly larger. -
Step 5
Get the 4-Port Powerline Ethernet Switch. Plug one end of Power Cord into a Power Outlet and the other end into the back of the 4-Port Powerline Ethernet Switch.
Do NOT plug the Power Cord into a power strip or wall outlet that uses surge protection as the 4-Port Powerline Ethernet Switch may not work. -
Step 6
Find one of your home theater devices like a Blu-Ray Player, as you will connect the 4-Port Powerline Ethernet Switch into this device.

Step 7
Plug one end of the 2nd Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet Port on the back of the 4-Port Powerline Ethernet Switch.

Step 8
Plug the other end of the Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet or LAN Port on the back of the home theater device, a Blu-Ray Player, for example.

Step 9
Find the next home theater device, such as Wii, Playstation 3 or Xbox. Plug one end of another Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet Port on the back of the 4-Port Powerline Ethernet Switch.

Step 10
Plug the other end of the Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet or LAN Port on the back of the next home theater device, such as Wii, Playstation 3 or Xbox.

Step 11
Repeat Steps 9-10 for each device that you want to connect to the Internet, to a maximum of 4.

Step 12
Check the LEDs and make sure both Link lights turn SOLID GREEN, indicating that the home theater devices are connected to the Modem/Router and thus the Internet.
Congratulations! You've connected multiple devices like your Blu-Ray Player, DVR, and Wii gaming console to the Internet!
